No . . . this wasn't done with charcoal but with graphite pencils. Drawing pencils. I'm pleased you like it so much.

Thanks very much, Cara. Walter's life was not an easy one, and the violent circumstances surrounding its end at the age of thirty-eight only confirms it. But the core of that life was reflected in his face, his eyes and his amazing music.
