I have to say, Luis, that one of the reasons working in black and white appeals to me is the influence of film noir. There is something about light and shadow in black and white that cannot be duplicated in color.

I should not say anything more... I have just been on your profile and had a look on these faces. When i was child i started drawing by cariucaturing people... then dropped. But seeing your work achieve to confort me in the idea i have to draw portraits again. Yours attracted me like a magnet. At first i considered this singer's glance and was almost fascinated. Then as i am looking through John lee hooker's mouth and others, i just really think you love people. Beside of the sharp observation, you have this "squared refinement" which grabs the main out of one like a hat over the right details. These are work of art. (Thank you for your kind comment.)
