I'm sure Miller would be honored, Nick. He's been a favorite of mine since my youth in NZ when we studied "The Crucible" in English class. Funny thing is that I was watching an old PBS series on Mark Twain last night, and Miller was being interviewed about him. A fav which puts in in my feed at http://imagekind.arikiart.com. Great job!

Your work always demonstrates a very important part of the book you are reading which to me is that your work feels experiential...as though you know the soul of those you draw...in other words, you make meaning to me from what may or may not be a direct experience but which you so skillfully convey to a viewer as myself as if you knew the person...your artwork gives me the feeling that I am looking in a window of the soul of the subjects.

I love the pensive lines of his face and how his eyes draw me in. I will never know what he was thinking at the time this portrait was done, yet I still try to guess.
